VAKOUN BAYO has landed himself a multi-million pound move to England just one year after he left Parkhead.
The Ivorian signed for Celtic to much expectation in January 2019 but failed to ever make a mark on the first team.
He struggled for game time during his two-and-a-half years at the club and was even left out of the Europa League squad in his debut season.
The now 25-year-old scored just twice in 17 appearances in all competitions too – netting in cup ties with Clyde and Partick Thistle.
He left for Gent in July 2021 – where he spent the second-half of this season on fine form during a loan spell at Pro League rivals Charleroi.
Bayo scored eleven times in 23 appearances – catching the eye of recently relegated Premier League outfit Watford in the process.
